thought my knees looked weird. Now that I’m an old
man I can’t grow a beard. The changes keep rolling.
They’re nothing new to me. I’ve been dragged all over
creation. I’ll never be free. I’m coming off again. We’re
moving on again. I’m losing all my friends, again over
again. It was 1992. I was sitting in the park. My dad was
across the street drinking in a bar. He didn’t know that I
was watching. He was yelling at a pay phone. Then he
got into his blue car. I didn’t want to go home.
